Before use
HONCHON zirconia blocks are pre-sintered dental zirconia.
Please handle it carefully Inspection each shipment for damage and do not use damaged discsfor the production of dental
restorations.Store HONCHON zirconia in a cool,dry.
temperaturestable environment(between 5℃and 50℃)in the original package.
Scanning and Designing
Please scan with a high-precision scanner to get an accurate date of the restoration model. Design based on the patient's condition and the doctor's requirements.
Milling
Pre-sintered zirconia materials have an inherent shrinkage associated with each production. The shrinkage must be entered into the milling preparation software to ensure the accuracy of the final restoration.
When milling our zirconia, always follow these general guidelines:
Use only sharp end mills with carbide or diamond coating.
·Do not use any restorations that have chips or cracks. Use a handpiece with a diamond-coated drill to remove the unit from the disc and use a medium-grit rubber polishing wheel to polish the support area.
·Remove any remaining zirconia dust with an artist's brush
If using a wet grinder, ensure that all zirconia is completely dry before sintering. Air dry for at least 15 minutes before sintering. Wet zirconia will crack if placed in a sintering furnace.
Restoration Separation and Cleaning
Use a technician-specific handpiece and grinder to separate the restoration from the block. Please use a brush to clean the powder on the surface and inside of the restoration. If the cleaning is not thorough, the powder residue will contaminate the coloring liquid during dyeing, and the powder residue will remain on the surface and inside of the restoration after high-temperature sintering, forming white spots, which will have a negative impact on the aesthetics of the restoration.
Coloring
Immerse the restoration in the desired coloring liquid for 1-2 minutes. If necessary, brush the incisal side with incisal liquid.
Sintering
Put the dry restoration in a crucible with zirconium beads. The bottom of the crucible should be covered with zirconium beads. Make sure the sintering furnace is clean.
Sinter the restoration according to the recommended temperature (see the sintering curve in the attachment at the end). Maximum heating rate: 10C per minute
Cooling should be carried out in a closed furnace without temperature control.
Do not open the furnace before the temperature drops to 80C to avoid thermal shock.
Grinding and polishing
Finish the restoration surface with a special zirconium oxide grinder. Steps: coarse grinding-fine grinding-coarse polishing
Porcelain glazing
When applying porcelain, the abutment should be designed with anatomical shape to meet the requirements of uniform porcelain distribution. Make the bonding layer according to the requirements of porcelain making. When designing the base structure, avoid the occlusal edge directly exerting force on the tooth edge.
Completion
The restoration is completed.
